New Job:

i am so thrilled and excited!!

I emailed a few preschools during the first week of decemeber because I knew I needed a job after the Christmas break and realized the month of December I could just not have a job and relax a little bit ( which was nice but my money is dwindling) ha ha and i miss those pay checks. A few preschools emailed me back saying that they weren't hirring at this time. One preschool in particular River side preschool the director Kim Barfuss who I emailed said that If I go to the Logan city School Distract and get an appliation and send in my school transcripts she would look over my applicaiton and that they were interested in hirring two new preschool aids for this spring semester.  I did just that got the application filled it out, payed 5 dollars for my school transcripts and turned in the application. She recieved the application and I sent up a time to go interview at 11:30. I went and was suppose to interview with Kim but her daughter was sick so she was at home. I ended up interviewing with two of the preschool teachers one that works morning and one that works afternoon. They were both sweet gals and did the interview process they had about 5-6 questions they asked me.....the worst question and the quesiton i always get asked is what is one of your Weakness and what is one of your strengths.....i have had this question asked in most interviews so i know how to handle the situation and what to say ha ha.  It was fun to have them ask me quesitons and me telling about my background expierience and what I want to do with my career choice. Seeing the cute kids in the hall line up...made me realize this is where i want to work. I want to be around children again and especially preschool age.

said my goodbyes and off I went through out my day:

it was about 1 1/2 week later I get a call from Kim when I was studying for one of my finals i almost didnt' answer my phone because I didn't know the number good thing I did! ha ha she said that they wanted to offer me the job.....i then had the biggest smile on my face on campus because i was thrilled and excited....i wasn't going to be jobless anymore....i get to work with children....i get to work in my field of study...i get to see how these preschool teachers are and learn from them and get some pointers. i am thrilled! i said yes of course she said I needed to print of this 24 page application process and fill it out, basically with my taxes and background check things...it was a little rough but so worth it. Printed them ( sterling let me use the rest of his free money on his student ID card to print these paper's) Yupp best boyfriend award goes to STERLING. he brough it all the way up to campus when I needed it before he had to go back to work. what a sweetheart. Thanks Sterling. Filled it out and then turned in the 24 pages. then signed up for a background check and did the background check about 3 days ago. yeahhh! i am already to go and I start Januray 6th....I work MON- THURS 12:00-3:30 and get paid 9.75 an hour. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I am excited for this expereince. and know i will learn a lot. 

I am grateful for this opportunity to work at Riverside Preschool.

its been nice this month to not have a job....but I am ready to work again...i love being busy! :)
