first black eye.

This one time Sterling and I were at are very last softball game. We ended up having two games because we won the first game and it was a double header if we won. Which was nice because then we got to play again…but the thing is I am not a softball player and never have been. I love playing any sport and will put my effort into it but it is sometimes hard to play this one because I just don’t’ have as much as a drive as basketball or running but Sterling loves softball so me being the cute girlfriend I realizing I will make the sacrifice to play with him and a couple of his old roommates. Well anyways I was doing terriable on batting the second game. I would always I mean ALWAYS hit in the exact same spot, and of course the other team new and the one guy always new it was coming to him…dang it one day I will be able to hit an out field ball but for now I will just continue hitting the ball and trying to get to first. The nice thing is though I have never have gotten striked out which is nice, I have always been able to run to first but then sometimes get out or I am able to keep going it is nice.  The last 2 mintues of the game I was up to bat. I was thinking in my mind I didn’t want to hit to that same guy who always gets the ball when I hit it to him…at least for this game…and all the other games ha ha! Good thing I havea good attitude and just laugh.  I then was over thinking where to hit the ball and the first time missed it..one strike the second time….it was a ball….third time I hit the ball on the bat….but it only bunted it a little bit then came back and hit me in my right side of the face cheek. It hurt so bad, but I continued to play because I couldn’t just stop….the crowd was like oooooh ouch.. yeah awkward. I then hit the ball and then off I go to run to first base but then they got me out. I was walking over to where my team was and good thing I had my hat on…..and just started tearing up cause it was hurting. I then go to play outfield and one of the guys on our team was like you honestly don’t have to play if it hurts. I was like I am okay and then 2 mintues later was like really I don’t have to. My eye is killing me and he said yeah it is swelling go put ice on it. I then drove home and put ice on my eye.  It was so funny and at the same time this would happen to me. I just barely got over the basketball eye injury from a girl poking her finger in my eye when we both go up to jump for the ball to get a rebound. It literally was just done recovering from that and then hit in the check with the ball…..ha ha everyone who knows me and has seen my eye just laughs at me. I got the biggest laughs at work when I go in with a black eye they were like what happened to you. It was funny. I couldn’t really hide the fact that I got a black eye cause that would be even more akward….it definatly has made me appreciate my face.  I am not one who likes scares or bruises on my face where everyone can see. Oh well it looked like I was tough and don’t mess with me ;) Sterling was so cute and went to Mcdeee’s to get me a Diet Coke….he seriously is a keeper love that man and loved cuddling next to him with him holding the ice on my right side of my face. Thanks Sterling love you! yeah black eye will be here soon. Here are a couple pictures sorry for the awkward faces…ha ha can you say struggle?

date night:

First we went to WINCO: which I have never gone to this grocery store...new favorite grocery store beceause they have a section in the store where it is all self select. Meaning you put it in bags and decided on how much you want, they have treats, gummies, granola, peanuts, flour, pizza crust, beans...etc...it was awesome!
we got some chex mix + starburst jelly beans for our movie snack...;) delicious
We went to this cute movie theater in Ogden to watch Caption America. I am not one to love movies, but this one is my new favorite action movie. If you haven't seen it. It is a must. Sterling loved it also....how could he not action/ guns/ intense/ funny. it was a good date night movie pick. Thanks to Sterling ;)
Favorite part of the movie:
  1. -the armed car
  2. -when he takes the caption america off the mannequin
  3. -when he says how do I know if they are a good guy or a bad guy....well if they are shooting at you they are obvisouly a bad guy. ha ha oh man it was intense ha ha

He got this awesome deal where he paid $32.50 for a date night package
it included:
2 movie night tickets to any movie of our choice (which we chose this one)
then 4 $15 dollar vouchers at this awesome Steak house in Ogden (says Sterling...he loves it)
then we get to choose one photo of us for a 8 X 5 canvas printed photo
(which by the way picking one FAVORITE photo ha ha yeah right...thats funny)
After the Movie we headed on down to the Steak place to go eat dinner...and knowing us guess what happened. Yupp it closed two mintues right before we got there ha ha good thing we had a plan B. We went to noodles and company. Ordered it to go and ate outside on the patio. Thanks to my man for letting me use his jacket cause it was a little chilly.
simply LOVE STERLING and all he does.

General Conference

A day before the session my mom recieved an email from a bishop in the Logan area. She called him and said that we would take the tickets, cause she knows any time I can go I go. I was able to arrange to have Sterlings brother pick them up and bring them down, since I already left Logan. I have no idea who this Bishop is, and his name isn't one that I could find or recognize. It is a little tender mercy. Thanks to that Bishop who emailed my mom. We had a wonderful time and really anytime going to General Conference is literally a treat. I have had the chance going with my young women group, with my roommates, a double date with Katelyn, my mom, my family, and now with Sterling. Loved it.
Grateful for the opportunity to go to General Conference with Sterling. Love him. Grateful for him. I adore him.
